To help sooth dry hands and eczema this winter, Amazon shoppers have praised O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Eczema Relief Hand Cream as a ‘miracle cure
As the cold weather has officially set in, the dropping temperatures can start to affect the condition and quality of our skin. Amazon shoppers have raved about a hand cream, claiming to ‘work miracles’ on dry, cracked hands and even skin conditions like eczema.
The O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Eczema Relief Hand Cream is currently priced at £9.49 and comes in a 57g tube marketed for those with ‘extremely dry, itchy, irritated hands’. Designed for daily use specifically to treat dry hand conditions, this cream is steroid-free, dermatologically tested and is said to give the wearer 48 hours of itch relief in one use, as reported by BristolLive.
The hand cream is also available in Shea Butter, which can leave you smelling sweet, or be as subtle as you like with the unscented version. On Amazon, the product listing reads: “Our formula provides 48-hour itch relief in just one use, leaving your skin feeling soft and comfortable.
“It locks in moisture, instantly hydrates and replenishes moisture levels, resulting in skin that feels soft, and comfortable, with a visibly improved appearance.” O’Keeffe’s is clinically tested to treat eczema, as well as reducing dry skin flare ups. The cream contains colloidal oatmeal, the product helps repair the skin by locking in moisture.
With an overall rating 4.7 out of five stars, from 83,847 global reviews, shoppers seem to be loving the magic this cream seems to work. Up to 80 per of the customer reviews received the full five stars.
Kay wrote: “I am impressed with how quickly this hand cream removed my calluses on my hands, caused by working using my hands constantly. I tried lots of different creams but none have been effective. This cream doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin either. It softens cuticles so they don’t dry out and catch too. Absolutely my favourite hand cream of all time and a great find. Will use this from now on.”
Sam commented: “Working outside a lot during the winter my hands would frequently dry out to the point the skin would crack and bleed.
This stuff fixed them right up. My hands are softer and my skin no longer resembles an abused Iguana. I would highly recommend.”

The pharmacy also recommends Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis 0.05 per cent Cream – 15g (£10.90), which has an average 4.8 out of five star ratings.
